Fat Goat Farm is a 9-acre diversified vegetable farm in the rolling hills of Salem, Indiana. We grow all our crops organically, avoiding herbicides, harsh sprays, and synthetic chemicals. Through cover cropping and rotationally grazing our goats, we build fertile, resilient soils that produce strong, healthy crops.
Maintaining a healthy ecosystem is central to our work. We encourage native plants, beneficial insects, and wildlife to coexist across the farm, fostering biodiversity and long-term ecological balance. Our practices prioritize soil health, animal welfare, and sustainable production so we can provide nutritious vegetables while protecting the landscape for future generations.
